Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made and services offered through the website www.bajiogo.com, and to bookings made in person, by telephone, email or any other communication mechanism.
BajioGo undertakes to use its best efforts to carry you and your luggage within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with the itinerary it issues you but does not guarantee to do so. You acknowledge in the event of any environmental “imponderables“ (earthquakes, weather or any other naturally occurring emergency events) or operationally disruptive events (unforeseen traffic congestion, civil event disruption etc) arise, that - whilst employing its best efforts to deliver transport services to you during such events - BajioGo may not be able to provide the timely delivery of such services to you. You acknowledge that should such unforeseen events arise, it is your sole responsibility to monitor such events and make changes to your travel plans with BajioGo or other transport providers to mitigate any such risk these events present to your travel plans in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein.
Smoking or the consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on any of BajioGo’s vehicles or that of its contractors or agents..
No agent, contractor or representative of BajioGo has authority to alter, modify or waive any provision of these notices or BajioGo’s Conditions of carriage.
Product Types and Associated Special Conditions
BajioGo offers the following products, services and special conditions to its clients.
Shared Ride Shuttle Services
This service is an on demand, door-to-door, fixed price service where individuals or groups that are unknown to each other share the vehicle during their journey to or from an airport. A “group” is defined as two or more persons that know or are familiar with each other, traveling together from the same or similar pick-up point to the same or similar drop-off location. The pickup time for shared ride services may be within and up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time on the reservation.
Private Shuttle Service
This service is an on demand, door-to-door, fixed price service where a booked individual or group hires the entire vehicle for its exclusive use for the purposes of site visits, transfers, touring, sightseeing or other transportation services.
In both shared and private shuttle services, BajioGo personnel (staff or externally contracted personnel) station themselves at an appropriate prominent point at an airline terminal or other nominated public transport terminal or pick up point (normally the arrival section of your flight or hotel) and display your name or group name on a sign in order to facilitate the connection with your nominated transport service. Notwithstanding the best efforts made by BajioGo representatives to locate you and given the high passenger traffic volume in such terminals, BajioGo makes no guarantee as to the efficacy of locating you during such Meet and Greet Services. If you do not make contact with your driver within 10 minutes of your arrival at the airport or designated pick up time, you are required to contact BajioGo on (+52 415 185 8665) in order to facilitate the rendezvous with your driver.
Point to Point Transfer Services
This service is a fixed price, door-to-door transfer service between regional locations, metropolitan cities, towns or airports, if available at the time of the booking. Details will be agreed upon while making and payment of the reservation.
Touring and Sightseeing Services
This is a non-transfer, exclusive service, with or without transfer service, where the purpose is touring and sightseeing. Details such as the breadth and scope of travel, among others, are as agreed between you and the BajioGo agent at the time of the booking of the service.
Add-on Services
Services such as child car seat requirement, additional stops, excess luggage, luggage with oversized dimensions, traveling with pets, among other possible services may be found upon the process of making a reservation and all the options will be displayed for you to choose if available and applicable for the transportation service you hire. Prices may vary and change without prior notice. The booking of such services by you is entirely at your own risk and BajioGo shall not be held liable for any consequent damages or costs, injury or damage to persons or property in the event that the service is not delivered by BajioGo.
Customer Telephone Contactability
You must provide BajioGo with a contact telephone number for the purposes of our operations staff facilitating communication for your service leading up to and at the time of transfer. For all bookings, you (or a member of your party) must be reachable in the 2-hour period immediately prior to your booked pickup time on the same telephone number that you have listed with your booking. If they are not contactable on your designated phone number, BajioGo will not be liable for any costs, damages or losses that you may incur as a result of not meeting your scheduled travel time.
Ready time at pickup point and contact requirements in the event of No Show
For transfer pickups, especially when you are traveling to an airport, you must be ready and positioned at your pickup point at your scheduled pickup time. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the delay or even cancellation of your service (depending on the extent of your lateness). In such circumstances BajioGo will not refund the cost of your transfer or be liable for any costs, damages or losses arising from the delay or cancellation of your service.
The vehicle will normally arrive within a 15-minute pickup window. Should your vehicle not arrive at the pickup point within 15 minutes of your scheduled and notified pickup time, you are required to immediately contact BajioGo by telephone (+52 415 185 8665). In such circumstances, should you not advise a BajioGo staff member of the non-arrival of your service within 15 minutes of such scheduled pickup time, and notwithstanding conditions contained herein, BajioGo will not be liable for any costs, damages or losses that you may incur.
Shared Shuttle transfer; permitted luggage
Following limitations apply per person: 2 pieces of luggage not weighing more than 25 kg each and of a maximum combined dimension (length and width and height) of 150cm – no charge. Normal airline carry-on items – no charge. Extra items - $5.00USD/$100.00MXN per item (these charges may change without notice from BajioGo). Outsized luggage items larger than a maximum combined dimension (length and width and height) of 158cm and all bikes, surfboards, skis, snowboards, large boxes or non-suitcase type items - $5.00USD/$100.00MXN per item (the definitions and fees for these items may change without prior notice from BajioGo).
Unacceptable Items.
The following items should not be included in your baggage and BajioGo accepts no liability for their damage or loss unless the items are identified to it and it has in writing accepted them for carriage:
- Jewelry, antiques or similar valuable items.
- Any item of a fragile or brittle nature e.g. glassware.
- Electrical or electronic components e.g. computers, camera equipment, personal electronic devices.
- Any item that has insufficient packaging to withstand the normal circumstances and effects of carriage by road transport.
Dangerous Goods Prohibited
For safety reasons, articles such as the following must not and will not be carried in your baggage unless they have been advised in writing to BajioGo and it has in writing accepted them for carriage:
- Loaded or unloaded firearms.
- Knives or other sharp objects.
- Corrosive materials (such as acids, wet cell batteries, mercury, among others).
- Explosives (fireworks and articles that are easily ignited).
- Flammable liquids and solids (such as matches, lighters and heater fuels, flammable aerosols).
- Poisonous, toxic, infectious substances.
- Radioactive materials.
- Compressed Gasses (Deeply Refrigerated, Flammable, Non-flammable and Poisonous).
- Any other dangerous goods (such as offensive or noxious health hazard materials).
The failure to comply with the prohibitions noted above will entail the cancellation of the service and any contract with us, BajioGo shall not be liable for damages or consequential loss to the customer or any other party arising from such breach.
Fares
Fares of each service apply only for carriage from the designated pickup point to the designated drop-off point, unless otherwise expressly stated and reserved. Fares do not include credit card payment fees or bank account to bank account transaction fees (if this is the chosen method of payment), meals, entry fees or any other additional service costs unless otherwise expressly stated by BajioGo.
Subject to the taxes and charges stated herein, applicable fares are those in effect on the date of booking placement. Should you change your itinerary or any date of travel, this may result in a change to the fare. Fares are subject to change without prior notice for new reservations. Promotions may be applied as king as the purchase is made during the validity of the same or are authorized by a manager on duty.
You are responsible for applicable taxes or charges imposed by the government, other authority or by the airport that are in effect on the date of travel.
Fares and charges are payable in those currencies acceptable to BajioGo and at exchange rates determined by us at the time of booking.
Cancellation, Amendment, No Show and Refund Policy
All booking cancellations without a 24-hour prior notice will incur a charge for 100% of the total fare amount. This penalty will also apply if you fail to show at your pickup point except in the following circumstances:
- Your pickup is off a flight at an airport and your flight arrival time has been changed (in which case BajioGo will track your flight and make its best efforts to meet your actual flight arrival time).
- Your flight has been canceled and you will arrive at a different time/day than originally scheduled. In this particular case, you must notify BajioGo by telephone at the time your flight has been canceled (+52 415 185 8665). You can reschedule your service with new flight information, as long as you have notified the above in a timely manner. Changes for the same day may be subject to availability. Failure to notify your new itinerary may result in cancellation of your service with no option for a refund.
- You cancel or amend your service with BajioGo by telephone (+52 415 185 8665) at least 5 hours prior to travel for Shared shuttle, Private shuttle, Sightseeing or Touring services.
For all booked services that require the prepositioning or reserved booking of a vehicle for Sightseeing or Touring services a minimum of 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations within the 24 hours prior to the service have a penalty of 100% of the total service cost.
Unaccompanied Minors
BajioGo will not accept bookings for unaccompanied children less than 13 years of age. Any such children must be accompanied by an individual 18 years of age or more.
Service animals
Service animals, either emotional or medical animals, are welcome on BajioGo vehicles. Please notify the presence of your service animal at the time you make your reservation.
Domestic Pets
All other small and small-medium sized domestic pets may be transported on BajioGo vehicles as long as they travel within their kennels and with a person responsible for them. Unaccompanied animals will not be transported. Please advise the reservation agent of the presence of your pet at the time you make your reservation.
In any case of liability on the part of BajioGo or any of their contractors (which includes any franchisee) arising from breach of this contract, BajioGo shall not be liable for damages or consequential loss to the customer or any other party arising from such breach.
